Catalyst Corporate Federal Credit Union and Malauzai Software, Inc, has reported that Greater Texas Federal Credit Union has chosen its mobile deposit capture solution. Catalyst Corporate recently launched their mobile offering which is based on the Malauzai technology.
“We decided on the Catalyst Corporate and Malauzai mobile offering because we needed an innovative mobile banking solution,” said Tommy Seargeant, CEO of Greater Texas Federal Credit Union. “Malauzai’s smartapp platform empowers us to provide members with excellent service within the mobile channel and also helps us to attract younger, more tech-savvy members, as well.”
“The partnership with Malauzai gives us an opportunity to offer our members the best in mobile banking apps with a focus on providing innovative solutions,” said Karen Coble, vice president of sales at Catalyst Corporate.
“Mobile banking has evolved. Today, many members do their banking via smartphones and tablets, and they expect mobile technology that saves time and makes life easier,” said Robb Gaynor, co-founder and chief product officer at Malauzai. “To stay ahead of the competitive curve, credit unions need to offer mobile features that members expect and demand. Features like mobile deposit capture are in high demand, and either credit unions provide the mobile features that members want, or they risk losing the relationship.”
Malauzai’s SmartApps are available for smartphones and tablets (iPad/Android). The company defines a SmartApp as a mobile app that delivers superior consumer experience and can be updated in real-time from a centralized location. The company created SmartApps in response to the demand for a dynamic, consumer-focused smartphone application. Malauzai’s platform is based on three tenets designed to enhance member experience, while driving profitability within the mobile channel: Cool Social Banking SmartApps, an Application Management System to manage SmartApp growth across platforms and Mobile Marketing to drive revenue.
