BSNL introduces Wi-Fi technology module for cars in Indore

Off lately, Indian Railways, for the first time ever, has launched Wi-Fi facility in Howrah Rajdhani Express that connects New Delhi and Howrah. And now the Indore division of BSNL has created a history by launching Wi-Fi technology module through exchange based on CDMA technology to provide internet access to the people in moving cars.

BSNL Indore unit’s General Manager G C Pandey who was the first to experience this in his official car said this technology module costs around Rs 5000 to Rs 6000.

He said that car with an antenna receives Wi-Fi signals with a 3.5 mbps speed, from an exchange based on CDMA technology.

BSNL is hopeful that once the module gets popular, it will attract customers in large numbers.
