Internet giant Google is pondering over making strategic investments for bringing together its mobile business based business arms Android, Google Offers and Google Wallet as it foresees these verticals to grow at an unprecedented pace in future.

Larry Page, Google CEO indicated about company’s expectation from its mobile business that it expects to defeat other businesses. While presenting Google’s first quarter report Page said that the mobile ads are going to be more viable and revenue boosters in coming time.

Google is looking forward to create a more effective mechanism for mobile users to obtain local information and for advertisers to target shoppers. Google currently registers 850,000 Android device activations per day. Also, Android smartphones now comprise 50 percent of the U.S. market.

On its mobile business specifically, Google said that during the first quarter the company launched a service that allowed marketers to link to a mobile app from inside their advertisement, thereby more closely linking the two mediums. Google also said it generated significant interest in its “go mobile” campaign for small businesses, which allows local merchants to easily create a mobile presence.

Google expects continued growth on the tablet front, including on the low end.
