Passport Parking, LLC has added mobile payment to their suite of cloud based parking solutions. PassportParking Mobile Pay has been developed to enable providers greater operational efficiency through real-time monitoring and control of their facilities. The mobile application can be downloaded through the App Store and the Android Market.

Customers can also use the popular and interchangeable voice and text payment options to pay for parking sessions.

The pay-by-phone system seamlessly integrates into other aspects of the platform giving parking providers complete control of their facilities. PassportParking’s operations management console can now allow parking providers to simply manage their day-to-day functions such as parking rates, contract parking, ticketing and enforcement, real-time monitoring and reporting, all from the Internet.

“This is the first of many releases we have scheduled for our mobile segment,” says Charlie Youakim, Managing Partner at PassportParking. “Our goal isn’t to match products currently in the market, it is to exceed them. The fact that we have received great feedback from both clients and parkers on the simplicity of our mobile pay system gets me excited about the next versions of the app.”

Once securely registered, motorists can pay for parking by using a mobile app, calling into the voice system, or texting their zone and space information. Customers can also receive text messages or voice alerts for reminders to stop or extend parking.

Providers can also partner with nearby businesses and organizations to implement the Company’s proprietary electronic validation system, which is integrated into both its mobile payment application and hardware devices to increase traffic and throughput of associated facilities.
