Simmtronics unveils dual-SIM tablet XPAD Turbo at Rs 7,999

Simmtronics launched XPAD Turbo a budget dual-SIM tablet in the Indian market. The device comes with a price tag of Rs 7,999.

The XPAD Turbo features 7-inch display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with a Mali 400MP GPU and 512MB of RAM. The XPAD Turbo tablet sports a 2-megapixel rear camera and also houses a VGA front-facing camera.

It has 4GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It has connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AGPS, Micro-USB and 3G (via SIM). It packs a large 2800mAh battery which according to company’s claims can offer up to 140 hours of standby time and up to 4 hours of Internet browsing time.

Indrajit S Sabharwal, Managing Director, Simmtronics said that the tablet comes with a facility to use both 2G and 3G. He also added, “This all-in-one workhorse is designed as the perfect companion for professionals and students who desire both reliable communications as well as optimum convenience – all at an affordable cost.”
