NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea will offer 5GB of extra data to its prepaid users who recharge with Rs 299 and above on the Vi App under a Republic Day offer, at no additional cost.
“On recharges starting Rs 199 upto Rs 299 on Vi App, Vi users can avail 2GB additional data at no extra cost,” the telco said in a statement. The additional data is valid for 28 days. The exclusive offer is available to Vi customers recharging only on the Vi App until February 7, 2023, it added.
On Wednesday, Vodafone Idea said it has rolled out over 1,100 new format ‘Vi Shops’ across 18 states to get closer to its rural prepaid customers.
These Vi Shops have been launched across multiple towns in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal within three months, the telco said in a statement.
“Vi Shops have been launched across multiple towns in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal,” the telecom operator said in a statement Wednesday.
Vodafone Idea said these shops will deliver a uniform Vi experience to local customers, as well as, enable quick support and handholding.
“Vi Shops offer the entire bouquet of Vi prepaid products and services and enable an enhanced customer experience and closer engagement,” it has said.
